Silent Hill 2 survival horror game developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami Digital Entertainment . It is a remake of the 2001 video game of the same name , originally developed by Team Silent , a group within Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo (KCET). Players assume control of James Sunderland (Luke Roberts ), a widower who explores the town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his dead wife, Mary Shepherd-Sunderland (Salóme Gunnarsdóttir ).
