The daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams and psychic who can see visions of past, present and future. is new to Nevermore Academy after she was expelled from her old school for trying to kill her brother's bullies by dropping piranhas in the school pool. She is introduced to her new school and her roommate, Enid Sinclair. In "Chapter I: Wednesday's Child Is Full of Woe", she is almost killed by Rowan Laslow and soon after witnesses him being murdered. She wins the Poe Cup race with Enid and finds the Nightshade Library in "Chapter II: Woe Is the Loneliest Number". It is revealed that Joseph Crackstone tried to burn her ancestor Goody Addams alive in a vision she had in "Chapter III: Friend or Woe". Thing pretended to be Wednesday and asked Tyler to the school dance in "Chapter IV: Woe What a Night". After her father was arrested in "Chapter V: You Reap What You Woe" for murder, Wednesday and Morticia worked together and found that Garrett was not killed by Gomez, but by the nightshade poison that he had in his pocket. She found out that Laurel Gates was still alive and witnessed Noble Walker being run over by a car in "Chapter VI: Quid Pro Woe". She attended Mayor Walker's funeral and then ran into her uncle Fester afterwards. She found out that the monster she was looking for was called a hyde from Nathaniel Faulkner's journal. Nathaniel's journal was later stolen, and Thing was stabbed while she went on a date with Tyler in "Chapter VII: If You Don't Woe Me By Now". She figured out that the master was Marilyn Thornhill and confronted her with Larissa. After Larissa was killed, Wednesday was knocked out and taken to Joseph Crackstone's crypt to Marilyn could use her blood to break the lock placed on him by Goody Addams. After escaping the crypt, she went to Nevermore and killed Joseph Crackstone in "Chapter VIII: A Murder of Woes".
