Jackson's Cove-Langdon's Cove-Silverdale is a local service district and designated place in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Geography

Jackson's Cove-Langdon's Cove-Silverdale is in Newfoundland within Subdivision P of Division No. 8.[2]

Demographics

As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Jackson's Cove-Langdon's Cove-Silverdale recorded a population of 129 living in 60 of its 105 total private dwellings, a change of -14% from its 2011 population of 150. With a land area of 15.08 km2 (5.82 sq mi), it had a population density of 8.6/km2 (22.2/sq mi) in 2016.[1]

Government

Jackson's Cove-Langdon's Cove-Silverdale is a local service district (LSD)[3] that is governed by a committee responsible for the provision of certain services to the community.[4] The chair of the LSD committee is Antia Kelley.[3]
