The 46th District of the Iowa Senate is located in eastern Iowa, and is currently composed of Iowa and Washington Counties, as well as part of and Johnson County.[1]

The area of the 46th District contains two Iowa House of Representatives districts:[3]
- The 91st District (represented by Mark Cisneros)
- The 92nd District (represented by Ross Paustian)
The district is also located in Iowa's 2nd congressional district, which is represented by Mariannette Miller-Meeks.[4]
