From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Finland–Russia border barrier is under construction in Finland on the Finland–Russia border. Finland decided to build the border barrier in 2022 due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The barrier will be approximately 200 kilometres (120 mi) long, covering roughly 15% of the 1,340-kilometre (830 mi) border. Its construction began in Imatra on 28 February 2023.[1][2][3][4][5]
