Fair use rationale[edit]

I want to change the license to Fair-Use from PD-India, as it is a cover of a CD from Induna/Everest. The file is for use in infobox at Sinhagad. Thanks Kaayay (talk) 13:28, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ouch. So that isn't the original 1933 film poster? That should be noted. I have changed the license accordingly. Huon (talk) 20:48, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Huon: Thanks, it is the original 1933 film poster but I don't know about the CD markings with Everest (CD company logo) written. I had originally assumed I could use it. I still think I can, but am not sure. But thanks again.Kaayay (talk) 07:19, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I rather doubt it is. A Google Image search for the film gave not only this image, but several others in exactly the same style that were the covers of Everest editions of different 1930s films. Unless that style was extremely common for 1930s film posters, even for unrelated films created years apart, I'd say it's much more likely that Everest designed new images to give their series of remastered films a recognizable look. @Huon: You are right, I have seen similar covers but they have all been Everest Collector's edition. Thanks for clearing that. Kaayay (talk) 14:07, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
