New Orleans is mis-located.

• Yes, New Orleans is in the wrong position. It should be directly adjacent to the southern shore of Lake Pontchartrain, that body of water on the map between Baton Rouge and where New Orleans is sited right now. It's between Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi River, not directly on the Gulf.
