English: Window within St Andrews Church This window commemorates Sir John Cornwall and his wife Elizabeth of Lancaster. Sir John was at the side of Henry V at Agincourt and is pictured kneeling on a french knight's shield. w:John Cornwall, 1st Baron Fanhope and Milbroke, KG, PC, also known as Sir John Cornwall and Sir John Cornouayl, (c. 1364 – 11 December 1443), was an English nobleman, soldier and one of the most respected chivalric figures of his era. He married Elizabeth of Lancaster a daughter of John of Gaunt, 1st Duke of Lancaster, the third surviving son of King Edward III of England, and the sister of Henry IV of England. She had previously been married to John Holland, 1st Duke of Exeter, with whom she had six children.
