Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer seaplane tender USS George E. Badger (AVP-16) underway, circa on 5 September 1940, by which time she had been redesignated AVD-3. She wears her APD number (16) and the aviation star insignia on her bow and is armed with two 102 mm/50 guns (one forward, one aft) and four 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine guns (mounted two on each side atop the midships deckhouse).
