Description
English: Turkish Cannon Turkish Bronze cannon cast 1790-91 in the reign of Ottoman Sultan Selim III, it weighs 5.2 tonnes and fired stone shot of over 56 kilos. It was captured by Admiral Sir John Duckworth from Kinali Island in the Sea of Marmara in 1807 and presented to the Royal Naval Asylum by the Duke of Cumberland
