1935 tablet commemorating the centennial of the Boston & Lowell Railroad Corporation (founded in 1835).

  • Located in Lucy Larcom Park, near the Merrimack Street end, in Lowell, Massachusetts.
  • It was one of the first railroads in North America, and the first major one in the state of Massachusetts.
  • It was operated as part of the Boston and Maine Railroad Corporation (Southern Division) after 1887.
