Summary

Description
English: Train at abandoned station of the town "Onverwacht" in Suriname. This station was part of a railway line built by Cornelis Lely especially for the transport of gold miners to and from the interior regions of Suriname. The line went out of function in the Eighties.
Nederlands: Trein bij verlaten station van de stad "Onverwacht" in Suriname. Dit station was onderdeel van een spoorlijn gebouwd door Cornelis Lely in het bijzonder voor het vervoer van goudzoekers van en naar het binnenland van Suriname. De lijn ging uit van de functie in de jaren tachtig.
