Description This photograph shows the home where Andrew Johnson, ex-President of the United States and member of the Senate from Tennessee, died at the house of his daughter, Mrs. W.R. Brown, near Elizabethtown, Carter County, Tennessee in the year 1875. His funeral took place at Greeneville, Tennessee on Tuesday, August 3, 1875, with attendance by family members and tribute to his remains from several Masonic lodges, military companies and various regional citizen organizations.
