Description
English: Statue of "King Tom" This statue of one of the 5th Earl of Rosebery's favourite horses, "King Tom". It is the work of the noted Victorian sculptor Sir Joseph Boehm and stands near Dalmeny House, the mansion of the Earls of Rosebery. The 5th Earl was Prime Minister in the 1890s and also a keen horse breeder, owning 3 Derby winners: 1894, 1895 and 1905.
