Description Photograph of St. Kilda circa 1890. Albumen print, 23.40 x 29.10 cm. The photographer was an amateur photographer who worked as a joiner and cabinet-maker in Edinburgh; it's not known why he managed to get this posed photo of the residents of St. Kilda.
