Summary

Description
English: The structure of human squalene synthase. The four aspartate residues indicated are positioned on opposing sides of the central channel of the enzyme. The phenylalanine residue is part of a hydrophobic pocket at one end of the channel. The C-terminus is shown as red; the N-terminus is blue.
