Summary

Description
English: Robin Hood Inn, Little Matlock, Sheffield - 1. Little Matlock is an area of Sheffield named after Matlock in Derbyshire because, allegedly, it has similar features. The Inn was built in 1804 and originally called the Rock Inn. The name was changed because this area of Sheffield is associated with the legendary Robin of Loxley who is more famously known as Robin Hood. It was fortunate in surviving the Great Sheffield Flood of 1864. 971355 971366 971376
