Summary

Description
English: The PF 50 machine gun was presented by the American firm PROFENSE, which had already presented its 7.62 x 51 mm caliber GATLING machine gun at the DSEI 2013 exhibition in London. This 12.7 x 99 mm caliber weapon is very similar to the M 2 HB machine gun, however it differs in many ways.

It works with an electric motor as on the BUSHMASTER 0.50 machine gun produced by ATK.

The barrel is equipped with a muzzle brake limiting the recoil of the weapon (less than 300 kg of recoil). It measures 1,524 mm and weighs almost 34 kg. Its rate of fire (with limiter) is given for 450 to 550 rounds per minute. The weapon is available in two variants: the first can be mounted on a tripod or on a vehicle and the second can be mounted coaxially on an armored vehicle or integrated in a remotely operated turret. The weapon is compatible with all ammunition caliber 12.7 x 99 mm.
