Description
العربية: كوادريگا أعلى قوس النصر دي كاروسيل أو قوس الكاروسيل. الكوادريگا هي مركبة أو عربة تجرها أربعة خيول. وكانت الكوادريگا تُستخدم في الألعاب الأولمپيَّة قديمًا. تعتبر الكوادريگا شعارًا للنصر والشهرة. وفي كثيرٍ من الأحيان كانت تُصوّر امرأة مُنتصرة وهي تقودها. وأُضيفت إلى قوس الكاروسيل الجياد الأربعة المطليَّة بالذهب التي أمر ناپليون بنقلها من أحد قصور سان ماركو في البندقيَّة بإيطاليا، ولكنها أُعيدت إلى إيطاليا في سنة 1815م. واستبدلت الجياد الأصليَّة بنسخ الأصل منها وأُضيفت إليها فيما بعد مركبة حربية ضخمة وتمثال يعبر عن السلام. التمثال من صنع المثَّال الفرنسي فرانسوا جوزف بوثيو سنة 1828.
