Description
English: Page from the Dastan- ı Miraç, a miscellany of religious works written in a Slavic language in the Arabic script.

It begins with a series of anecdotes taken from the Qisas al-anbiya ( Kısasu'l-enbiya) , interspersed with commentaries on some of the shorter Surat of the Qur’an, commencing with Surah XXXVI. From f 86v to f 102v there is the complete text of a Turkish poem on the Mi’raj of the Prophet Muhammad صلعم entitled Dastan-i Miraç with an interlinear translation into the Slavic language. The author’s name, Hajji Mahmud, is found in the penultimate line but is glossed as Hajji Muhammad, probably in error, in the translation. After this poem come further religious discourses, including (ff 120r-v) the Prophet Muhammad's صلعم physiognomy (hilyet).

Probably copied in late 18th or early 19th century CE in western Belarus (the terminus of the book has been determined as the first half of the nineteenth century, based on a watermark (1831) on the paper used by the copyist). British Library Or 13020 f. 88r
