Summary

Description
English: Variants of the Linear B ideogram *202VAS used on the tablet PY Ta 641, with the Linear B adjective used for each one below. The close correspondence between the variations in these ideograms and the adjectives used for them was a crucial piece of evidence in demonstrating the correctness of Michael Ventris' and John Chadwick's decipherment of Linear B, which was published before they were able to view this tablet.
