Français : Moose Factory (appelé aussi Monsipi), dans la baie James, après sa prise par les Français en juin 1686, et rebaptisé Fort Saint-Louis. « Fort Saint-Louis, situé dans l’ile ci à côté marqué A muni de 40 pièces de canon, 25 desquelles ont été apportées du Fort Sainte-Anne et dans lequel les Français font la traite des pelleteries ». Extrait de la Carte des costes de l'Amérique septentrionale et des terres nouvellement découvertes par Pierre Alemand dans les trois voyages qu'il a faits de Quebeck à la Baye d'Hudson ... présentée à Monseigneur le Marquis de Seignelay. English: Moose Factory (also called Monsipi), in James Bay, after its capture by the French in June 1686, and renamed Fort Saint-Louis.
