Fair use in Madame Fatal[edit]

The image is believed to be in the public domain because of Quality Comics' failure to renew its copyrights. In the event this image is subject to copyright, its use is nevertheless covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. The image is used as the primary means of visual identification of the article topic.
2. The image is taken from a portion of a single comic book page from a single comic book issue, which will not affect the value of the original work or limit the copyright holder's rights or ability to distribute the original.
