Description	Čeština: Josef Smrkovský (* 26. února 1911 Velenka – 15. ledna 1974 Praha) - československý politik a funkcionář KSČ během Pražského jara 1968, kdy zastával funkci předsedy Národního shromáždění ČSSR. Při událostech pražského květnového povstání 1945 zastával funkci místopřesedy České národní rady (ČNR), která sloužila jako zástupce košické vlády a byla zplnomocněná Londýnem. V ČNR prosazoval komunistické ideje, mezi nimiž bylo například osvobození Prahy vojsky Rudé armády. Portrétní fotografie Josefa Smrkovského datována před rok 1945.
