English: Pencil and wash drawing of Harvard College, Cambridge, Massachusetts, ca. 1821-1823, by Alvan Fisher (1792-1863). Edited for color, brightness/contrast, and cropped. From source: "From an elevated situation [the roof of Wadsworth House] looking into the interior of the square, formed by the edifices." Depicts the buildings of Harvard College, Harvard Yard, a few human figures, trees and shrubs in foreground and scattered throughout, and also shows a small out-building appended to the east side of Harvard Hall. Buildings depicted include: Massachusetts Hall, Harvard Hall, Hollis Hall, Stoughton Hall, Holworthy Hall, and University Hall.
