Español: La Fuerza Aérea Argentina (FAA), mediante el sistema de helicópteros MI 171E perteneciente a la VII Brigada Aérea, cumplió con éxito su misión en la Campaña Antártica de Verano (CAV), organizada por el Ministerio de Defensa, durante la cual trasladó a mas de 130 pasajeros, combustible y carga general, a lo largo de unas 50 horas de vuelo.
Durante la misión, se trasladaron a bordo de las aeronaves 200.000 litros de combustible y 20.000 kilogramos de carga general para las bases antárticas Matienzo, Petrel y Esperanza. Asimismo, a lo largo de extensas jornadas y bajo rigurosas condiciones meteorológicas, los helicópteros MI 171E realizaron la carga y descarga desde el buque ARA Estrecho de San Carlos y del combustible que requiere la base Marambio para su funcionamiento y para las máquinas que componen la dotación aérea. |
