As Adam lives in Britain, which makes it incredibly easy to acquire copyright in his works, he grants, if needed, an irrevokable license to use this work however you see fit. He requests attribution where possible, and realises that "where possible" means that that request is not legally enforcable. Adam Cuerden (talk) 15:44, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

  1. a b This copy of the Poster on Getty Images includes "Théâtre des Champs-Elysées" at the top, which is enough to identify the date: It was performed (in its Paris première) at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées starting on 10 May 1913, and the theatre went into near-bankruptcy six months later, with later productions in other opera houses. While it's possible the poster was reused from the opera's première in Monte Carlo, that première was on 4 March 1913. As such, it can't have been used before 1913, as the opera didn't exist, and it can't have been made after 1913 as the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées had to sell off all the sets and close down their production by the end of that year.
