Description

GOCE (Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer) is the first of a series of Earth Explorer satellites inside the ESA’s Living Planet Programme. The main goal of GOCE satellite is to map our planet’s gravity field in unprecedented detail for subsequent uses like polar ices and ocean currents mapping, geoid accuracy improvements and earth interior studies.
