English: Town flag of Ama Town, Shimane Prefecture. The lines at the bottom represent the sea. The chrysanthemum in the middle resembles the shape of the character 士 and represents the name of the town (海士).
日本語: 下方の三は水にして輪郭は波為り、即ち海を意味し、中央の菊は士形を為すを以て海士を表現す。
