ไทย: ธงนายพลเรือโท ตามพระราชบัญญัติธง รัตนโกสินทรศก 116 และพระราชบัญญัติธง รัตนโกสินทรศก 118 มีลักษณะตามที่บัญญัติในกฎหมายดังกล่าวร่วมกับธงฉาน ดังนี้
"ธงฉาน พื้นสีขาบ กลางมีรูปช้างเผือกทรงเครื่องยืนแท่น น่าเข้าข้างเสา สำหรับใช้ชักขึ้นที่น่าเรือหลวงทั้งปวง ถ้าแลธงนี้ ชักขึ้นบนเสาใหญ่ เปนที่หมายว่าเรือนั้นอยู่ความในบังคับของนายพลเรือเอก ถ้าแลธงนี้มีรูปจักรสีขาวอยู่ที่มุมบนข้างน่าช้าง ชักขึ้นบนเสาน่า เปนที่หมายว่าเรือนั้นอยู่ในความบังคับของนายพลเรือโท ถ้าแลธงนี้มีรูปจักรสีขาว อยู่ทั้งมุมข้างบนแลมุมข้างล่างข้างช้าง ชักขึ้นบนเสาหลัง ฤๅเปนเรือสองเสา ชักขึ้นบนเสาน่า เปนที่หมายว่าเรือนั้นอยู่ในความบังคับของนายพลเรือตรี" รูปลักษณะของธงที่ปรากฏในที่นี้ จำลองแบบตามหนังสือพระราชบัญญัติธง รัตนโกสินทรศก 118 (ตีพิมพ์ในชื่อ "พระราชบัญญัติ์ว่าด้วยแบบอย่างธงสยาม" ที่เมืองไลป์ซิก จักรวรรดิเยอรมัน ในปีใดปีหนึ่งระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2442-2453) ซึ่งสามารถดูได้จากใน File:Flag regs of Siam - 1909.pdf |
