Photograph of the exterior of the Westminster Hotel on the corner of Fourth Street and Main Street, Los Angeles, ca.1900. The four-story Victorian brick building has a six-story tower on the corner over the main entrance. There are awnings at street level. An automobile is parked at the curb, while a bicyclist is pedalling by. Part of a horse-drawn wagon is visible at left. Numerous pedestrians are crossing the streets. Streetcar rails and overhead electrical lines are visible. Legible signs include: "Hotel Westminster", "[...]sh Co.", and "Cafe".
