The copyright is owned by Mara Vishniac Kohn, heir to Roman Vishniac. I, (Rmrfstar), have requested a release of some of her father's photos under a free license, but she is unresponsive and unsympathetic. All photographs of his are owned by her, so no free alternatives are thus available.

This photo was scanned from Roman Vishniac published by ICP. It is of low-resolution and should not damage the value of the actual work significantly, yet is crucial to an article about the Roman Vishniac as it is a particularly excellent example of his portraiture work, partly for having such a recognisable figure as its subject.
