Summary

Description
English: East Pit is a disused chalk quarry south of Cambridge. Together with West Pit, it is part of the Cherry Hinton Pit Site of Scientific Interest, and together with Limekiln Close it is part of the Limekiln Close and East Pit Local Nature Reserve, which is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire under the name Cherry Hinton Chalk Pits.
