Summary

Description
English: This double-helical bevel gear was made by Citroen (note the similarity of the company logo!) and installed around 1927 in the Miřejovice small power plant on Vltava, to transfer the torque of the Francis turbine to the generator. The diameter of the bigger wheel is ca. 2 meters. It worked flawlessly until 2011, when it was moved to the park in the nearby town Kralupy as a technical monument.
Čeština: Kuželové soukolí s šikmým ozubením bylo vyrobeno firmou Citroen (všimněte si podobnosti s logem firmy) a instalováno v malé vodní elektrárně Miřejovice k přenosu krouticího momentu Francisovy turbíny ke generátoru. Průměr většího kola je zhruba 2 metry. Pracovalo bez problémů až do r. 2011, kdy bylo přesunuto do parku v nedalekých Kralupech jako technická pozoruhodnost.
