Designed by <aexternal free">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Babbage">Charles Babbage</a> in 1837 this marvelous machine is used to calculate polynomials using the difference method. Built using 19th century tolerances, it's calculations are so precise it can return results to 31 digits of precision.
