Description

Corsica mine stack at Elcor, Minnesota prior to its demolition. Architecturally significant, it was built by Cornish men of the mining industry in 1901 and was the last of its kind on the Mesabi Iron Range. From a Polaroid photo taken by William Keller in March, 1967 (Deceased).

Donated to the Iron Range Historical Society without transfer of copyright prior to the photographers death. Consequently, the copyright is still held by the photographer. Derived from a digital capture of the original Polaroid photo. Claimed as fair use regardless.
