Although this image and others may be found on a website that calls itself The Conrad Weiser Family Association, the Weiser Family Association does not, nor has it ever, had a website. The site that represents itself as such is the creation of one member of the Association, but the Association has no role in its creation, maintenance or content. The founder of the Weiser Family Association and a great scholar and author, Rev. Frederick S. Weiser, did not believe this image was in any way accurate and in fact, laughed heartily about the garb the figure is wearing in it. No authentic and verifiable image of Conrad Weiser exists and it seems that artists may have modeled their own drawings on the drawings of others who strove to depict an image of Conrad Weiser. This image and others must be considered as the product of artistic license until proven otherwise.
