English: Site of Codnor Park & Ironville station, 1989. View southward, towards Toton Yard, Nottingham etc.: ex-Midland Erewash Valley main line. On this formerly immensely busy line - before the 1980s 'destruction' of the Mining Industry, all that was to be seen was a solitary Class 150 DMU. Nothing was left of the station, which had been closed on 2/1/67. |
