Montage of two images (main and inset), both shot 7-Feb-2008 by Art Smart on a Sony PD-170 camera. Still images were captured from the video by Avid Pinnacle Liquid Edition 5.5 Pro. Pixel squaring, image cropping, and other minor technical adjustments were performed using Adobe Photoshop CS (Version 8.0). Inset is from roadway signage nearby. Both the Chevron Phillips "double swoosh" logo, and the "Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, LP" logo have been obliterated using the Photoshop clone tool, to protect CPChem's trademark. Note: On the street sign (inset), the new placard "Pasadena Plastics Complex" covers the original name of the plant, which was "Houston Chemical Complex" or HCC.
