| Description |
English: The large bar in the upper right of this picture is a single turn of a radio frequency transformer connected to the output of the power amplifier in the sender. Below it is a smaller tube also forming a single coil which couples magnetically to the upper coil through an air gap and which connects to the antennas through the feed lines. The lower coupling coil can be moved in and out by moving the truck to which it is attached left or right in the picture to optimise the power transmitted. |
