1) The shoes are a unique visual design. Any duplicate would be an obviously inferior knock-off, and using a photograph of one would be misleading to the reader.
2) The shoes were never commercially available, and only 24 pairs exist. It is not possible to simply purchase a pair to photograph. 3) The shoes are not on permanent public display anywhere, so it is not possible to simply go to a museum and photograph a pair. |
