English: Ninth-century mosaic from the St. Zeno's chapel in the Church of St. Praxedes, Rome
Saints Agnes and Pudentiana are identified by the gray inscriptions (illegible in this photo) placed beside their haloes. As in the great apse mosaic in this church, they carry their martyr's crowns as offerings -- in this case a part of a procession to the altar in the St. Zeno chapel. A third figure in the procession, separated from these two by a blind window, is St. Praxedes, sister of St. Pudentiana.
