English: Political cartoon. The entrepreneur Charles Dingley stands for Parliament against radical John Wilkes. In the background is Dingley's sawmill at Limehouse (the first in England, but which was smashed by a mob of sawyers for interfering with their livelihood). Dingley is caricatured as sawing through the traditional rights of Englishmen.
