Bantz, (left), congratulates Rear Admiral Lot Ensey, USN, after the Admiral was sworn in as Deputy Controller of the Navy in the Pentagon, June 1, 1960. He relieved Rear Admiral George F. Beardsley, USN, who had been appointed Chief of Naval Material with the rank of Vice Admiral. Prior to his new assignment, Admiral Ensey was Assistant Comptroller, Director of the Budget and Reports, Office of the Secretary of the Navy. Photograph released June 2, 1960. (8/25/2015). |
