Description
English: Ferrari 166 #32 at Le Mans in 1951: Yvonne Simon & Betty Haig drove Simon's own blue 1950 Ferrari 166 MM Touring Berlinetta s/n 0042M at the Le Mans race (in France) which was held 21 to 23 June 1951. They ended in 15th place overall, and came 3rd in their class (1,5 to 2 litre engines).[1] The car was entered by Luigi Chinetti (Ferrari racer/salesman) and in the 24 hours, they managed to drive 3124 kilometers, giving an average speed of 130 kilometers per hour.
