The "Illustrierter Beobachter" was a weekly illustrated magazine of the NSDAP (National Socialist German Workers' Party) and was published from 1926 to 1945 by the Franz Eher Verlag in Munich. The antisemitic caption reads: "Advice from an elderly Eastern Jew: If you want to become rich, go to Germany!" (German: Rat eines alten Ostjuden: Wenn se wer`n woll`n reich, gehen Se nach Daitschland!)
