Description
English: Built in 1881 and rebuilt in 1903, this tug was acquired by the Navy on 1 July 1918 and commissioned on 9 August of that year as USS Underwriter (ID # 1390). Later redesignated YT-44, she was renamed Adirondack on 15 October 1920 and sold on 6 June 1922.
