Summary

Description Toilet flange firestop and piping firestops. Toilets are not usually required to be firestopped, particularly if the drain pipe is noncombustible, since the penetration is finished off with a ceramic bowl filled with water, which would fare well during a building fire. It is, however, customary to stuff in rockwool packing at the very least.
