English: St Mary Magdalene's Church, Windmill Hill. St Mary Magdalene's church, Windmill Hill was built in 1883, in memory of Philip Twells (MP City of London) of Chase Side House and was paid for by his widow Georgina H. Twells, at a cost of £32,000. This church, on the top of Windmill Hill, is a landmark for miles around. In the 19th century there used to be a windmill opposite the church.
