Description |
A RCA TK-1C camera that produced the Indian Head Test Card image after sign-off during the test card's existence on TV from 1939 to circa 1979. The Indian Head Test Card is situated inside the monoscope tube on the left of this picture, and it is picked up through a UHF connector on the rear of the unit. Because these cameras did not have on/off switches, they were left on 24 hours a day from day one. |
